The assignment suggests 3 step activities focused on oral and written communication (basic skills)
Students work in pairs.
Step one: Students study the timetable and make sentences about Jack`s day at the garage.
Step two: Students write feedback on Jack`s work. It has to be split into 3 paragraphs (the instruction is provided)
Step three: Students play different roles (mentor and apprentice)
The assessment of Task 2 - feedback - can follow the usual criteria for written communication:
-good command of English (vocabulary, grammar, spelling)
worksheet, pen, pencil, paper, PC, the internet links can be use to get some extra ideas about different duties in a garage.
