The Secret Life of Art: art periods, interdisciplinary project in Design and Crafts

Beskrivelse:

Students have to collect and record information about different art periods; thus, they practise basic skills such as reading and writing. Working with different sources -primary and secondary- is imperative for the project. Each group makes one piece of clothing or collage to represent the art period (vocational education class)

In English class students submit a portfolio to show the idea development, sketches, the final product and the text about the art period and the piece of clothing or collage they have made. The English text is individually written and the assessment is based on the criteria attached.
