  1. Meet the Somalis - Including illustrated stories about Somalis in the UK

Meet the Somalis is a collection of 14 illustrated stories depicting the real life experiences of Somalis in seven cities in Europe: Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Leicester, London, Malmo, and Oslo.

Use the stories of those in Leicester or London to discuss social issues in the UK or simply use the texts as an alternative form of text to discuss. The story of the family in Oslo is rather poignant.
