    Elevene skal lage en presentasjon og skrive en tekst der de presenterer en av de skotske klanene. De må finne klanens kilt og beskrive mønsteret og hva slags stoff som brukes til kilten. Videre skal de finne klanens historiske bakgrunn sett i lys av Skotlands historie.

    Parvis jobbing som skal resultere i en digital presentasjon og en skrevet tekst. Elevene prøves i både skriftlig og muntlig framstillingsevne.

  6. Research Project: Fibres & Textiles -- and Design for Valentine's Day Table Setting

    Aims:

    • Learn about various fibres, their properties and how they are used to make textiles
    • Learn to use written sources critically as a basis for an oral presentation
    • Learn about the tradition of Valentine's Day
    • Create a design for Valentine's Day Table Setting

    End product:

    • 5-15 minute oral presentation, supported by posters, drawings and sample materials
    • A design for Valentine's Day Table Setting

  7. International Project: Malawi. Design a Classroom and a School Uniform (Design)

    Students practice different basic skills by collecting material about the former British colony and its system of education.

    Next, they use their skills  to design a classroom or uniform for a Malawi elementary school.

    Finally, the project is presented and assessed by a grade for oral communication.
