    Use the stories of those in Leicester or London to discuss social issues in the UK or simply use the texts as an alternative form of text to discuss. The story of the family in Oslo is rather poignant.

Heyden is a 20th century modernist whose body of work redefines the art of modern tapestry.

    Elevene skal lage en presentasjon og skrive en tekst der de presenterer en av de skotske klanene. De må finne klanens kilt og beskrive mønsteret og hva slags stoff som brukes til kilten. Videre skal de finne klanens historiske bakgrunn sett i lys av Skotlands historie.

    Parvis jobbing som skal resultere i en digital presentasjon og en skrevet tekst. Elevene prøves i både skriftlig og muntlig framstillingsevne.

  10. My Big Fat Greek Wedding - Lesson plan

    The aim of this lesson is to use the film My Big Fat Greek Wedding to engage the pupils in a discussion centred around culture, multiculturalism and integration, using the cultural importance of food as a focal point. The pupils will explain, explore and elaborate on key topics.  They will also analyse and reflect as well as use three of the  ‘grunnleggende ferdigheter’: å kunne uttrykke seg muntlig, å kunne bruke digitalt verktøy, å kunne skrive. The film is particulary relevant for RM/KOS pupils, but is relevant to all English classes.
