  3. Begrepsinnlæring - et tverrfaglig samarbeid mellom bygg- og anleggsteknikk og engelsk

    I dette opplegget skal elevene jobbe på ulike måter med begrepsinnlæring av de 30 - 40 viktigste redskapene fra verkstedet på engelsk. Elevene kan jobbe parvis, i mindre grupper og i hel klasse. Det jobbes først og fremst med den grunnleggende ferdigheten muntlig engelsk, men opplegget kan enkelt utvides til også å omfatte skriftlig arbeid med redskapene. Det legges ikke opp til noen formell vurdering fra lærerens side, men ulike vurderingsformer kan brukes underveis og i etterkant av arbeidet.

  4. Skjema for å lære faguttrykk - Technical and Industrial Production

    Et undervisningsopplegg for TIP, som bl.a. inneholder en metode for å lære faguttrykk, for eksempel navn på forskjellig mekanisk håndverktøy. Med utgangspunkt i et selvlagd skjema kan elevene arbeide med ordinnlæring både i verksted og klasserom. I opplegget inngår opplysninger om en nettside for quiz-øvinger der elevene også kan lytte til ordene.

    Opplegget kan brukes for å øve både muntlige og skriftlige ferdigheter.

    Make a five minute oral presentation (powerpoint, video or similar) where you elaborate on environment, health and safety (EHS) and potential safety hazards in your field of work (building and construction). You get two weeks to finish your presentation.

    Bakgrunn: I RM programfag lærer klassen hvordan man parter lam og gris, om forskjellige muskelgrupper, om kjøttstykker, hvor de kommer fra, og hvordan de eventuelt kan brukes i matretter. Klassen skal lage matretter på kjøkkenet.

    Beskrivelse: Dette er et 2 timers opplegg (90 minutter) som knytter videosnutter, lytting, snakking og skriving om programfaget til kompetansemål i engelsk og praksis på skolekjøkkenet.

    Fokus er på å lære faguttrykk gjennom media, diskutere mat i sammenheng/kontekst og i samarbeid med elevene.
