Programleiaren diskuterer ulike problemstillingar med gjester. Kvar podcast-episode tek føre seg ei rekkje tema, så det kan vere aktuelt å nytte berre delar av episoden. I alle høve, podcastane passar godt til lytteøvingar og øving i dialektforståing.

  8. Plan and make an international lunch

    Students will make lunch based on recipes from a randomly chosen country. Countries are drawn before the students plan a meal. We have allocated 8 hours, split in 2 parts. The first part is planning, while the second part is the execution. The task will focus on written and oral skills, as well as the ability to convert measurements.

  9. Plan an English lesson for 1st graders

    Students will plan a 15-30 minute lesson in basic English for 1st graders (6 year olds). Students will have to decide the best way to teach their chosen topic. They will be asked to write a plan for the lesson, as well as their reasons for the choices they made. The lessons may be carried out in practise as well, either in an actual 1st grade class/kindergarden or within their own class with the rest of the students playing 1st graders.

    Opplegget er tilpasset elever med individuelle opplæringsplaner og som er i grupper med redusert elevtall (maks. 8). Opplegget fokuserer på leseforståelse av relevant tekst om hvordan barn utvikler seg det første leveåret. Opplegget øver arbeid med ord og begreper innenfor emnet og hvordan disse defineres.

    Et tverrfaglig opplegg (engelsk, kommunikasjon og samhandling og yrkesutøving) for helse og oppvekstfag om etikk med taushetsplikt som utgangspunkt. Elevene skal lære å diskutere et etisk problem på en systematisk måte der de anvender et metodeskjema. Opplegget øver muntlige og kommunikative ferdigheter. Elevene jobber i grupper og skal presentere resultatet for klassen. Medelevene deltar i evalueringen av presentasjonen. Metodikken i dette opplegget er overførbar til andre aktuelle etiske problemstillinger på helse- og oppvekstfag.

  20. First Aid - Healthcare, Childhood and Youth Development

    In this teaching project the pupils choose a first aid case as a starting point for their work. They work in groups of three and have to make a list of words that they will need in order to describe and act out their case. The main focus is on oral competence, but they will also make a detailed desription in writing of how to treat an injured person.

    Ideas for peer assessment and follow-up activities are included.
