    Dette opplegget er ment for Elektro, men kan også brukes på TIP. Hvis opplegget skal brukes på TIP må verktøy og nettstedene tilpasses programfaget for TIP.

    Fokus i opplegget er at elevene skal kunne lære seg engelske navn på de verktøy som de bruker til vanlig. De skal også lære seg å søke opp slike navn på internett, på nettsteder der man kan forvente at en elektriker kan bruke. Til slutt skal man kunne visualisere sine arbeidsplasser gjennom å kunne oversette denne visualiseringen til skriftlig og så til muntlige oppgaver.

    The book is written by a former child soldier. The language is not diffiicult and can be easily understood by pupils. Ishmael tells the story of his life in Sierra Leone and later in Canada.

    Students can compare and contrast Ishmael Beah and the fictional character of Dia from Blood Diamond.

    These stories are part of the Bringing Them Home report that the Australian Human Rights Commission undertook to look at the effects of the forceable removal of Aboriginal Children. These are very powerful stories and would most likely need to be edited in terms of language. However they are worthwhile using since many students will find these geniuine first person accounts very moving.
