  19. Speak English - vokabular

    Speak English er ei nettside med mykje generelt og spesifikt vokabular. Vokabularet er i hovudsak britisk engelsk og kjem med oversettingar til bokmål. Dei engelske orda og setningane kan ein få opplest ved å trykkje på ordet/setninga. Sida har to hovudkategoriar, uttrykk og ordforråd, desse er igjen delt inn i tema som t.d. grunnleggjande uttrykk, naudssituasjonar, samtale, tid/dato, tal, fargar, møblar, bildelar, mat og drikke, menneskekroppen, arbeid...Fin side for elevar som har lite ordforråd og for elevar som vil ha ei kategorisert oversikt over vokabular.

  20. Cooking in Britain today

    Undervisningsopplegg frå British Council knytt til restaurantbransjen i Storbritannia. Nivået er intermediate + så det passar kanskje best til elevar med høgt språknivå. Elevane jobbar med matrelatert vokabular, ulike arbeidsoppgåver knytt til temaet, t.d. det å reflektere over nasjonale rettar, alias-aktige øvingar (beskriv ein matrett), quiz. Nokre av oppgåvene legg til grunn at elevane kjenner godt til matprogram og kjendis-kokkar frå Storbritannia, så her må ein kanskje tilpasse til norske elevar sin kjennskap.
