Keep the Wheels Turning: Cycling in London

Pupils learn new vocabulary, watch and listen to a video clip from YouTube, prepare a short speech and write an instruction: How to Use Boris Bikes

There are 7 different activities all in all; from very easy (to stimulate thinking and speaking) to more difficult (to listen and understand instructions with some advanced words)

At the end of the period pupils should be able to write a simple text titled:

How to use a Boris Bike?

The frame with signposts (first, then...) is provided.

Students are assigned only one grade for the activities. Thus, the text with instructions as well as the oral part of the assignment are equally important.
