Focus on Literature: Communication in FYR


Pupils train basic skills (reading, writing, speaking) and learn to understand  fiction.

Step 1: Pupils read a novel or a story and place the events in order.

Step 2: Pupils choose 2 characters and create their profile.

Step 3: Pupils find out how the chosen characters interact with the others in the book/short story.

Step 3: Pupils compare their findings in small groups. Discussion.

Peer editing of factual errors as well as mistakes in vocabulary and grammar in small groups.

Pupils are assigned a passing grade for communication.
